PMS poemmemoirstory 11 is available!

We’re very proud of PMS 11 because we have internationally esteemed poet Mary Jo Bang in conversation with Lauren Slaughter. We also have brand new work by such writers as Jennifer Horne, Heather Dundas, Sonia Scherr, Denise Turner, Natalie Harris, Gay Baines, Mary Crow, Jessica Young, Sabrina Ito, Mara Faulkner,  Marilyn Ringer, and many others. We’re so fortunate to be able to celebrate the range of unique and beautiful voices in this collectible issue. Last year’s PMS publication party also included a donation drive of new children’s books to give to the “Aid to Inmate Mothers Story Book Project” at the Tutwiler Women’s Prison in Alabama. We collected over 30 books for moms and kids to read together. We’re continuing to do that project with PMS 11’s publication party, featuring Jennifer Horne who will be reading her short story “1957,” a story that ties into the celebration of Martin Luther King Day when a teenage girl happens upon a picture of her mother as a teenager in Arkansas in 1957.
